8. Towing and Recovery Major Injury Vehicle recovery will be led by a BORDA level 1 qualified driver who has
completed training in Towing and recovery
Instructors must use approved recovery equipment
All clients to stand well clear of vehicles
No passengers are to be carried in either vehicle during towing

QUAD BIKING - GENERAL
1. Vehicle failure
Major injury Vehicles are to be checked fit for use before each session.
All defects are to be logged and reported to the maintainer.
Any mechanical work is to be carried out by an authorised maintainer.
Any vehicle that is not serviceable will be marked “Do not use”

3. Broken Limbs and abrasion Major injury Long sleeves, long trousers, sturdy foot wear, gloves and goggles must be worn
by all riders

to be complied with

Major injury Methods of moving ATVs to track are riding or walking.
ATVs may only be ridden to the track by Rider Course qualified staff wearing all
required PPE
ATVs may be moved at the walk using power of engine provided that the ignition
cut off lanyard is worn
